The "Road Warrior" package of laptop computer and a LCD projector, can be reserved through the Resource Request form and checked out for use. Also available for checkout; camcorder, slide/film projectors, boom box and digital camera. Staff is responsible for checking out, operating and returning the equipment.

The Laptop has the standard College software loaded. It can access the College network when on campus, but can’t support a modem connection. If additional software is required for the presentation, the user should contact the Helpdesk in order to comply with software licensing and computer hardware specifications.

A “cheat sheet” is included with the "Road Warrior" to assist the user with setup. Users should review the setup procedures and practice to ensure the equipment will support the presentation. The Helpdesk will provide basic troubleshooting assistance by calling 457-2900.

This equipment is not to be used for regular classroom instruction, it is to support users who are presenting in on-campus or off-campus locations that do not have equipment.

Equipment needing repair or new bulbs should be reported to the library staff. Equipment must be picked up by the user at one of the following locations:

· South Omaha Campus-contact SOC library staff (738-4506)
